Softlips Lip Balm Winter Flavors - Review - Gift Guide

I may have mentioned a time or two that I like lip balm. I mean, I really, really like it! Softlips has always been one of the brands that I carry with me. When I saw that they were bringing back the Holiday flavors of Sugar Cookie, Winter Mint, Sugar & Spice, and Sugar Plum Berry, I was a pretty happy girl! I bought a set last year, but ended up using it as a gift and didn’t get the chance to try these limited edition flavors.

One of the features I really like is the fact that Softlips is moisturizing without being sticky. I’m also not a fan of heavily-flavored lip balms. These have a hint of flavor, or it may just be scent, I’m not sure. But Softlips doesn’t taste like you have something on your lips, so you’re not always licking it off. I love that! Another feature that is so under-rated – Softlips products have an SPF of 20! Since your lips can’t create moisture to protect themselves, that’s soooo important!

Winter Mint – A fantastic mint flavor. Cool and refreshing.

Sugar Cookie – Slightly buttery and sweet. Just the way sugar cookie dough tastes.

Sugar Plum Berry – A mild berry flavor.

Sugar & Spice – Sweet and subtly spicy, kind of like gingerbread or spice cookies.

During the holidays, you can get selected duos for just $3.99! You can choose from combos such as Winter Mint & Vanilla, Sugar Cookie & Raspberry, or Sugar Cookie and Cherry. The best part is that these are available at your favorite retailer – like Target, CVS, and Rite-Aid! There’s also a special 5-pack of seasonal flavors that’s available exclusively on the Softlips website. That pack includes all of the special winter flavors (Winter Mint, Sugar Cookie, Sugar Plum Berry, Sugar and Spice) plus Mint with a hint of Vanilla. They come packaged, ready for gift giving. Priced at just $9.99, it’s a fantastic little gift or stocking stuffer!

I received no compensation for this review. I did receive product to review, but was not required to write a positive review. All opinions are mine.

I have never tried SoftLips before. I like that they have different flavors! I only use one brand.

I agree with you...I don't like the sticky, bubble-gummy heavily flavored lip glosses, either. I mainly use them for moisture when I'm outside in the Winter. There's nothing worse than being caught without lip balm in the Winter in the Midwest. I think I have some in all of my coat pockets :) I'd love to try this brand.

My favorite thing about Softlips balms is that they're not sticky! Hate when I go out and the wind blows and my hair gets stuck to my lips ;(

Softlips is my preferred lip balm, and I have trouble keeping it on hand, since my family knows where I keep my supply.
