Prefense is a different kind of hand sanitizer. Rather than being a gel-like alcohol based product, it is silica based.
Prefense is a foaming hand sanitizer, but it has no real feel to it. There's almost no scent - not lightly scented, but no scent. I even tasted it. It tasted a little bit like sand, but other than that, didn't really have a taste either. On the bottle, it says Smooths. Softens. Protects. It does leave your hands feeling nice, but does it work? It's hard to tell. I couldn't find any independent research regarding Prefense. All studies stating that Prefense was an effective product (or their similar counterparts) were manufacturer driven.

Maybe we've been conditioned that products have to have a scent/feel/effect for us to believe it's working.
You can get Prefense on their website. You can also get Prefense on Amazon. And try out the combo pack of Prefense hand wipes and travel-size foaming sanitizer - a $13.98 value for just $7.99.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
