These colors go together so splendidly but in a completely unexpected way. The pastels seem to deepen when combined with the jewel tones. The vivids give the assortment an overall lift.
And the packaging...I adore the packaging in this set! The wooden spools lend a vintage feel to the flosses and don't cause knots or kinks. The assortment of spools are then packaged in a crystal clear bag, where you can really see the colors and how well they go together. So pretty and inspiring!
If you don't embroider, that's okay, too. You can use these flosses in hand quilting, scrapbooking, paper crafts, friendship bracelets, cross stitch, all sorts of good stuff!

I learnt at school when I was about 10yo. It was very simple stitching but I must have enjoyed it as I have had a go at all sorts of embroidery types over the years since then.

Embroidery was the first craft I learned and I embroidered a table cloth.
I haven't done any needlework for years but I am always using textiles in my jewelry.
