Introducing Bag It, Don't Bin It Eco Friendly Bags

We all want to do our part for the environment. Recycling, reducing waste, and reusing things we have are great ways to help out. One of the great ways to both reduce and reuse is by using reusable shopping bags! That’s where Bag It, Don’t Bin It comes in.

Bag It, Don’t Bin It, a UK based company, makes highly fashionable, eco chic reusable bags that are fabric, rather than some kind of plastic-y or nylon fabric. Available in eco friendly fabrics like cotton, jute, and canvas, these bags are printed with hip, happening images, designs, and slogans.

Better yet, Bag It, Don’t Bin It carries only fair trade bags. They also make their items in Sheffield, England, rather than outsourcing the manufacturing. You know how I love items that are made domestically!

The company's philosophy:

We believe in making our products in a way that has the least impact on the natural environment and in a way that contributes to the empowerment of workers and safeguards jobs. We work with Fair Trade registered factories that are SEDEX and ISO 9001 accredited as well as offering skilled employment for young people in Sheffield.

That’s probably why companies including Jimmy Choo, Waterstone, and the British Museum have chosen Bag It Don’t Bin It to create totes for their brands. If you have a company or an event coming up, you can get bags made with the same attention to detail and exquisite quality via their sister site Doodle Bag.

On Doodle Bag, you can order individual bags that are pre-printed or you can upload your own designs and have them printed. They even have a place where you can submit your designs to have Doodle Bug sell your designs for you. How cool is that?

The two companies offer traditional screen printing, lithography printing, and digital printing, all done by master printers. In addition to using fair trade items, they are also a zero waste company with the company director being a national spokesperson regarding eco-ethical business practices.

It’s great to know that there are places like Bag It, Don’t Bin It and Doodle Bag that actually practice what they preach!  Eco Friendly Bags can be Chic and Trendy, too.

I don't know why I never considered what the actual bags were made out of that I've bought for groceries. I love that these are natural fibers and will certainly remember that next time I'm in need of new/additional shopping bags!
